WeTheTrack is a platform that connects beatmakers and artists for music licensing. Beatmakers upload their instrumentals, artists discover and license them, and labels manage catalogs. The platform handles the full licensing workflow: track discovery, automated contract generation and digital signature compliant with French copyright law, secure payments with split management, and LFE 2026-compliant invoicing.
Why It Matters
Music licensing between independent creators still relies on informal channels and manual processes. Contracts are written by hand or skipped entirely, rights ownership stays ambiguous, and there's no single place that ties discovery, legal documentation, payment, and invoicing into one workflow. WeTheTrack replaces that fragmented process by connecting both parties on a single platform — from discovery to signed contract to payout. The project is supported by the CNM (Centre National de la Musique) and SACEM.
